I have learned the head knowledge of the faith from Presbyterian converts. Pentecostals have taught me to relax and enjoy the presence of God in my life.

Thank you for your clear and concise Part l, I am always wanting more about Judaism and I shall be looking forward to part two. I will say Messianic Services were not anything like the service at the Temple. I went there for maybe two years. Always going to mass on Sunday, I was wanted to go deeper and I was helped most with this one experience I describe above I knew I was going to always remain a Catholic. I am 50 years Catholic Convert from Protestant Church hoping since an infant with my relatives. It was always about the Pastor. He carried the whole burden. His preaching!

I also had the honor with the help of a Messianic Jewish woman who took me to the Temple for Friday Services. I saw the Rabbi sat to give his Reflections on the scriptures, the far right had a table with two men who were checking the reader of the scroll of scriptures to make sure there was no misspoken words. The Tabernacle was Golden Doors from the floor to the ceiling and the doors opened and the scrolled was take out of it to be read. At one point the Rabbi came down the middle isle and carried the scroll and each row of people from the first rows all across to wards the Rabbi and the Scroll and kissed the scroll and gave a piece of candy and said to each one “The Torah is Sweet” I did it too. I felt at home. There were no musical instruments. They had something like a Missal which had the readings the first of the book was our back. there was Hebrew on one side of the page and English was on the other. After Dismissal we were invited to have refreshments we stood around no chairs, the table was full and the drinks were assorted. We chatted and the Rabbi was friendly to me. He ask was I a new member or something like that. I hope you can see that this Temple was so familiar to me because of the Mass. It was wonderful and I would never have understand if I had not experienced it. The Catholic Church is the fulfillment of Judaism. I saw it in so many ways. They are our older brothers.
